School Field Trips at Julian Farm and Orchard

Julian Farm and Orchard is the perfect educational environment for your next school field trip. We offer a comprehensive curriculum for students of all grade levels. Our knowledgeable farm staff will guide you in planning your event which will include an agricultural lesson and various farm activities.

CHOOSE A FARM ACTIVITY PACKAGE

PACKAGE 1 - GENERAL ADMISSION

(This option is great for any size group)

Offered when the farm is open to the general public.

Pick one of our farm activity packages. Your group can roam the farm at their leisure.
The price is $5-25 per person depending on the desired package.
Groups over 25 can make a field trip reservation to qualify for group discounts.

PACKAGE 2 - STANDARD FIELD TRIP PROGRAM

(Must have a group of 25 or more paying attendees)

Offered Wednesday and Thursday when the farm is closed

to the general public.

$20 per attendee | 3 Hour Farm Experience

What's Included:

One AGRICULTURAL LESSON BY SEASON

Let’s Talk About Apples: Includes a walking tour of our apple orchard and a Cider Press Demonstration with a cider tasting (Apple picking is not available in this package, see our Apple Tour page for more information) - September and October.

All About Pumpkins: Includes Harvesting Seeds and a Jack-Be-Little Pumpkin (groups can upgrade to a larger pumpkin when booking) - September and October.

NEW Program - Farm School Day Camp

(Must have a group of less than 24 paying attendees)

Offered on select days when the farm is closed to the general public.

Farm School Day Camps are field trips hosted by Julian Farm and Orchard. This program is booked only through our online booking system on our website. The program is designed so we can accommodate those who typically cannot meet our group's minimum requirements.

Additional Details:

Groups of 50 or more paid attendees get 10% Off
One FREE chaperone is admitted for every 10 paid students (Groups of 25 or more).
Field Trips must be booked in advance.
Invoices must be paid prior to arrival. Net 30 with signed Purchase Order.
The kids will get dirty, so please make sure they wear clothes and shoes appropriate for a farm environment. We suggest children wear a school shirt to identify group members easily.
If a student(s) needs financial assistance to attend the field trip please let us know.
Waivers: All attendees will require a signed waiver per farm terms and conditions. The waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian.
There is no drinking water available on the farm. Please bring water for your group.
Any add-ons or upgrades will be applied to all guests attending in your group.
All field trip reservations will receive one group invoice. The invoice will be created based on the group roster head count provided to Julian Farm and Orchard staff two weeks prior to the field trip date. A group roster with participants' names including what the attendee paid for must be submitted to our team at the time the final headcount is given.
